" We are not of the East nor of the West
No boundaries exist in our breast
                                                          We are free "

Welcome to the official site of the Min Ajl Lubnan Task Force

The M.A.L. Task Force is a group of individuals dedicated to serve and promote the peaceful and intellectual purport of Lebanon.  It is imperative that we who believe in the Lebanon of the future, exert every effort to remind the world of how important Lebanon is in bringing about peace and tranquility not only in the Middle East but far beyond.  It is through the expression of its thinkers, authors, artists, and poets that Lebanon's voice will be heard.

The works of Ameen Rihani bridge East and West

Ameen Rihani occupies the unique position of interpreting the Near East to America and America to the Near East.  The respect and admiration with which he is regarded will open wide those doors that are inaccessible to foreigners.
The Near East and all Americans interested in that region of the world, eagerly follow his work of lecturing in the United States and Canada and the publication of his various books and articles both in English & Arabic.

The philosophy of Kahlil Gibran is a lantern in today's multi-cultural world

Kahlil Gibran's early years were spent in the breathtakingly beautiful countryside of his native Lebanon, so different from the polluting forces of the Boston ghettos to which he emigrated with his family in 1895, at the age of twelve.  Following a period of study in Paris, Gibran moved to New York, and it was here that he was to compose his most famous book, the universally acclaimed The Prophet.  This masterpiece has been cited as the most widely read book of the twentieth century.
